Three Disney parks down, two to go! Last week, we went to Disneyland Paris for the first time. We’ll have more to say on that later. This post is just about our favorite merchandise, aka merch, from this trip. We’re not Disney super fans, we’re not Disney Adults, we’re (mostly) adults that went to Disneyland Paris for a unique experience.
Beach Towel
This beach towel was the first item we saw and it was pushed at every register on sale for 15 30 euros. With a very Parisian background and the clear Disneyland Paris branding, we couldn’t say no. A truly 6 foot long towel and very plush, we have no regrets

Mouse Ears
@marisamurdock wanted mouse ears that clearly said Disneyland Paris. These were surprisingly hard to find with limited choices. We stopped in a lot of stores before finally finding them in one of the Ratatouille stores. Why Chip & Dale? We can’t figure it out. Remy would seem the obvious choice, but that wasn’t available!

T-shirts
We’re always on the lookout for good t-shirts that you can’t really find anywhere else. While I can’t guarantee The Remy & Indiana Jones shirts can’t be had anywhere else, we haven’t seen them anywhere. The Mickey Disneyland Paris t-shirt is clearly from the same design session as the beach towel and was a great gift for @marisamurdock‘s mom.

Espresso Cups
These were just so cute I had to have them. Plus, who can argue with the sayings on the back? Happiness & youthfulness have so much to do with state of mind, try to keeps yours open!

Water Bottle
There were a lot of water bottles for sale, but this one said Disneyland Paris & had the mouse ears on top. Clearly the best one.

Shoulder Mounted Remy
We know this isn’t unique to Disneyland Paris, but Ratatouille is one of our favorite Disney/Pixar movies and we had to get shoulder riding Remy. The plush comes with a magnet so you can mount it to your shoulder, but we didn’t want to lose it so the boys just balanced it on their shoulder for a pic.

Placemat
Also from the same design session as the beach towel and Mickey t-shirt, this placemat just looks nice with so many classic characters and of course “Bonjour!”.

Spider-bot Keychain
Found in the Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure virtual web slinging ride’s gift shop, Spider-bot keychain is not unique to Avengers Campus in Disneyland Paris, it’s also at California Adventure’s WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, but Zack liked it. Surprisingly, the rest of the Avengers Campus merch was uninspired. As huge Marvel fans, we couldn’t believe Disney didn’t put more effort into their biggest franchise’s merch!

There was a lot of other Spider-bot toys and add-ons, you could spend a lot of money, but none of it felt amazing.
Rubik’s Cube
When you transport a bunch of merch back from international travel, not all of them make it back without damage. Like the Spider-bot above, this is not unique to Disneyland Paris but was the perfect gift for our friend’s STEM kid. Thin paperboard packaging is the third toughest to safely transport home after glass & ceramic.

About pins
We don’t collect pins from Disney’s parks. Zack went to Walt Disney World a few years ago with a friend and came home with a number of them. They look nice & all but we’d feel compelled to do something larger with them to show them off and we just don’t have time for that kind of crafting project.
