Hi, I’m Dave, Marisa’s husband and travel partner. I’m a software developer that writes apps for iOS and macOS as Tangerine Element, has a day job as iOS & Android developer, and is the tech guy for Travel by Marisa.
Before I met Marisa over 20 years ago, I’d never left the United States or even the East Coast. I was hungry for new travel experiences. When I met Marisa, one of the first serious things we did together was take a trip to Puerto Rico with her father and mother Jackie. We’ve been traveling the world ever since.
With Marisa’s expert planning, we’ve been able to travel to places and within budgets I never would have dreamed of. Destinations like Australia, Mexico, the Caribbean, and more. The most surprising part were the budgets. Numbers that were the same or cheaper than just driving down to the Jersey Shore or Florida for the same old trip.
Since we’ve had kids, we’ve increased the diversity and frequency of places we’ve visited. Taking the whole family to Italy, France, Austria, Spain, England, Scotland, Canada, and Iceland. These trips offer everyone a wealth of life experience you just can’t get anyway else. I’m constantly grateful for all the opportunities we have and hope to share them.
